GENERAL RULES AND INFORMATION
• Only the designer, the model and one support person can attend the dress rehearsal
• Prizes: $4,200 in cash spread over all categories
• Entry fee non-refundable
• Models (7 years up) and designers have free entry to show -
• Music and lighting will be done by the festival organiser
• Each designer will have 1 1/2 minutes minimum on stage
JUDGING INFORMATION
• Judging criteria based on authenticity, creativity, appearance, workmanship and, where appropriate, recycled material used.
• Judges decision is final and no further communications will be entered into. Judges will be back stage from 5.30pm on Saturday 29th November to have a closer look at the garments and ask some questions. The remaining judging will take place on stage at the evening show.
ENTRY CONDITIONS
• Garments can only be entered in one category.
• For the children’s categories both the design and work must be done by the child.
• Designers and models must be available for rehearsal on the day plus the evening show.
• Only the designer, the model and one support person can attend the dress rehearsal.
• Entry fee non-refundable.
• Models and designers have free entry to show.
• The Totally Thames Wearable Arts organisers reserve the rights to take photographs of garments for the use of promotional material.
GARMENT CONDITIONS
• Garments sizes must not be larger than 2m wide and 3m high.
• There is to be no use of advertising signage or company logos in your design.
REHEARSAL TIMES SATURDAY 28TH OF NOVEMBER
• Kidz Renew-Reuse-Recycle, Teenage Mania, 10am
(Body Art can start from 10 am- Catwalk training at 12pm)
• Steampunk, Hat, Hair & Underwear, Classic Coromandel, Anything Goes 12pm
CALENDAR DATES
Entries Close 15th November 2015 – Sunday.
All entries received after this date will incur a $10 late fee
Rehearsals 28th - 10am and 12noon till 4pm
Show 28th November - 7pm Show Start
28th November – 4pm Designers & Models assemble in dressing room to get ready
Judging 28th November – 5.30pm Opportunity for judges to get a close up look and ask any questions.
